I have some wierd trouble with non-k oc. Look screen ^^
I can live with strange readings of temperature sensors. BUt when appears new FAN6 sensor, speaker starts continuously beeping.
It happens in any situation and with different period. Including when in games, when system is hot, and when system is in idle.
GA-Z170-D3H
Have 6400 OCed to 4,4 right now.
Using f5c bios.
Going to change bios and see what happen.
And my question:
What bioses for D3H have non-k OC feature, in general?
And what bios i should start first?Last edited by Eagle_i_am; 10-08-2016, 10:42 PM.

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
stasio,
did gigabyte put in a new protection scheme for their motherboards bios. Because my z170 gaming k3 rev 1.0 I can update the UBU modules but when I go to update the bios via q-flash or @bios, it says invalid bios file. Although untouched without using UBU it works. First time I had this happen with gigabyte mb's.
PS. I can update my brother's gigabyte h110 mb bios with UBU modules no problem and I used to own a z170 gamiing 7 that I could also update with ubu modules.

Efiflash 062-mod
It turns out Gigabyte is using a structure called BiosDataRecord to perform an integrity check. It seems Gigabyte specific and it was present in older platforms as well (checked and found at Z87 and X79), just that it isn't/wasn't always fully activated.
When updating microcode, some motherboard manufacturers are fixed in the BIOS volume, which contains a file with the microcode. As a result, MMTool can not make changes to the data volume and displays an error.
Btw,
I have also KabyLake BIOS update F20b ,for your board:
Z170GamingK3.20b

It turned out that the motherboard is buggy because of one of the programs in Gigabyte App center.
I removed it completely.
Now the motherboard works well.Last edited by Eagle_i_am; 10-10-2016, 09:44 AM.
