Just info:
GA-EX58-Extreme/GA-EX58-UD5 BIOS F4g:
Fix: F12 boot
Bug: AHCI/IDE F4h
Fix: AHCI/IDE Bug F4i:
In test,nothing negative
Is the AHCI boot bug suppose to be fix with the recent beta versions H and I? For me this problem still exists with beta version I, but I have not tested H and think if present with I it will be present with H.
Curious about this too, I am hearing a very audible screeching coming from the motherboard and wondering if anyone with the GA-EX58-UD5 exhibit this to? Very similar to inducers causing vibration. Sometimes it does sound like the inducer cricket chirp. Sometimes it a high pitch electrical screeching in various frequencies.

Nope, not getting it at all. Bad capacitor I'm thinking? But then again, they're all-solid caps so I haven't really heard of that happening on a new board like this.
i have a sugestion .. just incase .. you should have the lastest bios and also the beta ... that way peoples have a choice to choose .... i just rma my board .. and was looking for f5 in ep45-ud3p ... now just had to go to gigabyte and get it ... just a sugestion ... keep up the good work ... thanksssssssssssss
I pretty much agree. I would like to see all available BIOS linked on the front page, or at least all the beta, instead of replacing the link with a new beta.

We have limited space for one thread. Will see what can do.
Btw,thread is about LATEST BIOS

I have three videos for anyone to watch. I did change the power supply and it did not change a thing except for, perhaps, the commonality and frequency. If you note it happens close to the processor area. All three examples are just loading a game. One is a very good example of the scaling when it is in use. Funny thing is I forgot about my speakers. Give a listen and tell me what you guys think what I may need to replace. Note, the second motherboard does the same thing as the first and a new power supply made no real difference.

I have the same problem with pitch noise. As I could detect. It was from my PSU. I have changed PSU to another one(but same brand). And there is still the same problem. It occured after updating bios to F3. Noises also appeared at my old DVD-combo. The noise at PSU highly activating when I start listening to music or playing games. In your case it may come from fans. Because motherboard is intelligently hard made.
Where I can download F2 for UD5? Want to make some search...

Furay, please inform me if you still experience the same issue with the previous F2 Bios. I know F3 caused this too. But I always flash to the latest BIOS before I install any system. So, I have no idea if this problem actually exists due to the BIOS or if it is intrinsic to the motherboard.
This version does resolve the the AHCI boot bug when the secondary controller is disabled.
Tested every bios in UD5 anda all off them have the droop from idle to load.
Droop is actually according to Intel's spec. However, if you wish to change this you have to enable Load Line Calibration in the BIOS. This is usually only if you want to overclock. But according to some you always want this disabled, IIRC. I never ever overclock so you will need to do the research. Actually here, I will help you out: anandtech+load line calibration - Google Search
Just to let you know F4I for the Extreme blows. Totaly sucks. Reboots, Locks up at random. :( tried everything dropped to stock clocks and stock timings to stock voltage just random crashes and locks ups.
