im currently running 4ghz e5200 with this mobo,unlucky not stable,too hotss temp!

here my spec:-

GA-EP31-DS3L
[email protected]~4ghz
2*2gb cm2x2048-6400c5 corsair
Asus EN8800GT 512mb
Big water 850i cooling system

Do you guys can help me???how to make it stable or the right setting in bios such as cpu voltage and Ram timing setting.

need the best tweak!

Please post what you are using now, and I will post back some settings. Do you have a good cooler?

im only got this **** thermaltake 850i Water cooling and some other 5 chasing fan,f i need 2 by a ram cooler i will get it to night hehehehe........

are you sure those settings you've got there are right... if they are, thats your problem... from what you've posted, you've got your CPU running in excess of 5.6GHz... either drop the multiplier or the FSB. Also your memory doesnt seem to equate either... try this for 4.1GHz

Please fill that table in with YOUR Settings, all of them exactly and I can help. What you have there now is 5.4Ghz so it cannot be correct


And PLEASE Lower your CPU voltage for sure before you kill your CPU

sorry bro the cpu frequency is 320x12.5 = 4.0ghz

btw im already test ur setting it only boot to windows with high cpu voltage =1,60000

how hot does your chip run if you boot to windows with 1.6V on the core? just seems a bit high to me... most people dont raise the voltage on that chip past maybe 1.45V

then it load to windows

idle temps seem high, are you sure ur load temps are correct?
and 38c for a system is good :D
ur load temps are +10 from idle, seems normal.

4Ghz is ALOT to ask out of a 2.5GHz CPU, so you may want to back off your wish of a 4Ghz overclock because with that voltage being needed your CPU is going to die VERY QUICKLY!!

3.6-3.8 is a bit more acceptable, and would only need 1.38-1.4 or so

What can you not set to 9? CPU Mutli? Why not, you have loaded optimized defaults with that CPU installed before right?
