Have you read the guides pinned here? If not you should so you can get to know BIOS's and ram timings a little better. Yes there are many settings that need to be changed such as disabled settings, voltages, and you need to set several things for 2x2gb ram to manually set things as well.

Would you like some settings or just some pointers? If you would like some suggested settings please let me know a CPU Speed you would like to run and I will post you a full table of settings

              Re: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS4

RealTemp should be correct, both have changeable tjmax, which is why you see different temps. You do have to have the latest Everest to change it, but you will find it in there in preferences, hardware montioring (It is not there in older versions) Tjmax for 45Nm cpu's has not been released yet but most agree it is 95 or 100 >>>
              [OCCP] TJMax for All - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

You must also Calibrate Realtemp >>>

                    Re: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS4

You must set the voltages, MCH and ram and CPU. The reboot and start on the rest.

If you are still having issues please post back exactly what you set that fails and I will advise you

Do you have the ram voltage set, and MCH voltage set?

So, you get anywhere yet? I know sometimes the First few changes in P45 BIOS are hard to get going. That is why I suggested doing a few things first, then a reboot, then a few more.

So, just wanted to see if you got started yet, I mean get it starting to work yet?
