I have been trying to get ram to run 1:1 @900 but i can not get past BIOS post.Im not sure why i taking the ram down in speed and thought i would be able to tighting up timming and run 1:1 if any one can tell me why this seems so hard .I tried uping timming lowing voltages but just does not what to post @1:1 900 strap 2.00D
Was hoping to run at 5-5-4-13@900

      Re: need help underclocking ram

you'd probably find that the RAM runs more stable if you lower the CAS instead of the Precharge and up the northbridge voltage. In my opinion you shouldn't skew the RAM when underclocking and you shouldnt do more than 100 clock cycles on the CPU at these frequency. Also, you might try changing the strap to 333MHz just to test stability

Hey Bong, you mind sending me all the info you can on Skews? I could use some learning in this area for sure, hence my random ranges
