    Hi all, i'm new to these forums and hoping for some help, not asking much i know, :D

    i built my new rig a week ago and cant seem to get the clock i want. specs are:

    Q9300 with an IFX-14 cooler and 120mm fan (currently @ 399 x7.5)
    ep45-ds3 (noctua heatpipe sinks on n/b and s/b - NO fans)
    4gb crucial ballistix (4 x 1GB) dominator fans fitted
    8800gtx (HR-03 cooler with NO fan)

    all in an Antec 900, sweet huh? ;)

    ok so here's my problem, pushing the fsb upwards of 399mhz does nothing but reset the bios to orginal version (F3) and defaults the clock but it will run @ 399mhz all day long (orthos tested for 24 hours)

    I have tried upping the MCH voltage to 1.3 and the core voltage to 1.4 but to no avail.

    any help much appreciated. thanks. :D

    Please post what fails for you at 400 + FSB, and please try 405 or so not 400 exactly.

    Have you ran Memtest86+ on each stick of ram in slot one separately? If not you have to, otherwise you will not know if you have a dying stick in there. Crucial Die VERY OFTEN, and you should just always test all sticks when you get them or when you transfer to a new Build. Latest Version 2.01 (Older will fail with errors always) >>>
