please help me OC (EP43-DS3L+E8400)

so I've had this system for a while now and I'm always hearing that it's a sin if i don't OC it but I was always fearful as to not damage my hardware but i guess i should give it a try and since my setup is pretty popular i was wondering how far can i overclock it? and what are the recommened tempreture in idle and stress tests and how exsactly to go about the OC in general

4Ghz is the norm for that CPU nowadays. Keep temps under 65-70c for your Cores.

Have you read the guides I have pinned in this forum section? If not please do, they may not directly apply to your BIOS but they will help you learn alot of what you want to know and how to start going about things.

I can always give you some settings, if you would rather do that let me know what CPU Freq you want to try for. But either way please read the stickies as well, learning always helps your overclock.
