  • Scanning BIOS Image in Hard Drive - [GA-EP35-DS3L]

    Hello

    I have just setup a new computer.

    When i started the computer. i got the following message

    First it showed Award Bios and 512 MB VGA Card


    Then soon after, it displayed the following message:

    Award BootBlock BIOS v1.0
    Copyright ....

    Scanning BIOS Image in Hard Drive....

    My motherboard : GA-EP35-DS3L

    What should i do ?

    My Computer Specs:
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz
    Graphics Card: XFX PVT88PYDD4 GeForce 8800GT XXX 512MB
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L
    Power Supply: Corsair TX750Watts
    Ram : OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
    CPU Cooler : Zalman CNPS9700 LED
    HardDrive : Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS (500 GB)
    Casing: Gigabyte 3d Aurora
    This is a new computer, i have done nothing to it. The message displayed the first time i booted the computer. Though the computer shutdown 3 times. The 4th time it showed the above Bios message.

    The problem was solved by Changing the DIMM Memory slots.

      DO NOT USE @BIOS if you plan to update your BIOS (I need to make a sticky, this cannot be said enough)
