  • settings to get mushkin @1200

I have my CPU overclock to 3.6 and the memory strap for 400 fsb-2.66d speed is 1200 .Could you maybe give me a place to start with getting that speed out of my memory i have XP2 ASCENT eVCI 4GIGS (2X2) on a
GA-x48-DS4 Board with Intel [email protected] not sure if ther will even do 1200 but i can give it a shot.Thx again for all the help

Are you sure your CPU is stable, voltages and such? If so you should try this for your ram, and of course it may not do 1200. These will be very loose timings so you can see if it will do it or not. If it will I will try to help you get them tighter

    Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto]
    CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [8]
    CPU Host Clock Control_ [Enabled]
    CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [450]
    PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [100]
    C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled]
System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [2.66D] =1197MHz
DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [Manual]

    Performance Enhance = [Standard]

    CAS Latency Time________________ 5/6
    Dram RAS# to CAS# Delay_________ 5/6
    Dram RAS# Precharge Delay_______5/6
    Precharge Delay (tRAS)__________ 15/18

You may need to use 6-6-6-18 above for 1200, try that for sure first

ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)_________ 5
Rank Write to READ Delay________ 12
    Write to Precharge Delay_________ 14
    Refresh to ACT Delay______________ 65
    Read to Precharge Delay__________ 6
    Static tRead Value_______________12
Static tRead Phase Adjust________ 1-31 << Leave on Auto or Zero or 1-31

    CPU/PCIEX Clock Driving Control [800mV]
    CPU Clock Skew Control [normal]
GMCH Clock Skew Control [Normal] << May need up to 250ps for ram at 1200

    System Voltage Control____ [Manual]
    DDR2 OverVoltage Control__ [+0.300V]
    FSB OverVoltage Control___ [+0.1V]
    (G)MCH OverVoltage Control [+0.2V - 3V]

You will likely be better of using them at tighter timings at slower speeds then using them at looser timings with higher speeds. But only benchmarks will show you which is best.
