    Will graphic card work in PCI-E 2/ATI error

    I am haveing some troble with new ATI driver i was thinkng is it posibel to use bottom PCI-E slot as primary slot for ATI4870 till i get problem with driver fixxed i know i will have to change BIOS to peg2 but wanted to check to see if that would work 1st.I can not get driver to uninstall all the way did safe mode driver cleaner pro/driver sweeper ,ccleaner nothing still no CCC says driver in installed but getting these errors i think im going to have to reinstall .HOPEING NOT

    Yes you can use bottom slot anytime you like.

    Have you tried just reinstalling over the driver by simply installing a older version or the same version again?

    You should for sure be able to go in safe mode and reinstall the same version, then reboot into safe mode again then uninstall normally. You can use the installer to uninstall as well, and you could also use device manager. If you need some more help, let me know.

    If you want I can connect to your PC and uninstall it from my end if you have the time to do that as well

    What driver version is this anyway? And do you have all the latest Microsoft Updates as well as the newest DirectX installed? If not please install the latest updates and The newest DirectX which is here >>>>

    If you have all this installed already and the above suggestion does not help you, can you try to install/uninstall again with only ONE stick of ram installed? And if that failes try again with your other stick of ram installed, you may have a bad stick.

    It does not always mean a ram error just because it says memory, but often can be for sure
