Hi

What is the setting to get the cd-rom to be recognized as an IDE device? It is now being seen by the system as SCSI. It wont recognize it when I am booting Hirens boot disk.It is plugged into the ide port.

Hirens boot device will not work with SATA disk drives, is this what you are trying to do? Load a program on hirens?

Or do you mean that you just can't start hirens cd at all? Either way just so you know now nothing on it will work for SATA disks there is not proper 16Bit drivers
