I am running this motherboard with E8400 CPU and use onboard Realtek HD on Windows XP SP2. The audio works fine (both 2-speaker setup speakers and headphone) until I put the system in S3 standby. After coming out of standby I get the message "A jack has been unplugged" and the audio does not work until I reboot. I have all the latest patches/drivers. Any ideas on how to go about fixing it? Thank you

Re: GA-EP43-DS3L no audio after S3 Standby
Uninstall the Microsoft UUA driver from device manager in safe mode, and reinstall the realtek driver again to be sure, other then that the only thing I could think it could be is you may need to manually set your DDR2 voltages, and add some MCH this has been known to help with S3 issues.
Also, disable legacy USB storage detect in the BIOS if you are not using a external drive
