G31M-S2L memory timings

Hi - I have memory rated for 4-4-4-15 @ 2.1v but am having problems getting it to run at that speed. The bios is defaulting it to 5-5-5-15 - I use CTRL+F1 to get to the settings and change them to 4-4-4-15 but the actual numbers to the left don't change (I assume they are not supposed to). With these settings I can't get the system to boot without resetting OC - I've tried adding +.3 voltage to no avail.

What am I doing wrong?

These are the reviews on my memory with everyone talking about how it's set to lower timings for compatibility issues and no problem overclocking to the proper timing @ 2.1v...

Nevermind - I had to change my memory multiplier to 2.5 to get it to boot.
