phenom 9950 black

hi all
my first post, just need some advice i have gigabyte MA790FX-DS5 with the f5 bios i'm looking to buy 9950 black edition 2.6 gig but have noticed that the board does not support it.i have emailed gigabyte to ask if there will be a bios update for the board but all they say is that the mobo does not support it.i see that the DQ6 supports the cpu & the MA750SLI-DS4 which i find strange that the middle of the two boards(DS5) does not,does anyone know if there will be a bios update,or will the board just not support the cpu.all your advice would be greatly appricated

I have the 9850BE and gigabyte say theres no support for that either. Work fine though :)

hi all
just an update,flashed bios to F6 (with usb flash drive all went well) installed the 9950 runing a treat boy is this cpu quick good temps as well as i write this temps @ 34 on all cores overall 37 so even though gigabyte say that the DS5 does not support the cpu!!! i'll have to say OH YES IT DOES !!! anyway i hope this helps
