Hello.
I am having an issue with the CPU Host Frequency in my motherboard. My Intel Q9450 processor has a 1333 MHz FSB and the CPU Host Frequency should be 333 MHz, as recommended in the manual. The motherboard, however, sets the default CPU Host Frequency to 400 MHz. This has resulted in overclocking the processor from 2.66 GHz to to 3.20 GHz. I have tried changing the CPU Host Frequency in the BIOS (in the MB Intelligent Tweaker section) to the correct value of 333 MHz but the BIOS will not let me do this. The CPU Host Frequency is in blue and is not configurable. The manual states that if the CPU Host Clock Control is enabled than the CPU Host Frequency will be configurable. But, the CPU Host Clock Control is enabled and the CPU Host Frequency is still not configurable. The CPU Host Clock Control is also in blue and is not configurable, which, according to the manual, it should be in white and configurable. Nonetheless, I would like to change the CPU Host Frequency to 333 MHz. I just built this computer and the motherboard sets the CPU Host Frequency to 400 MHz, which is the incorrect value. 333 MHz is the correct value for my processor, and I need help to change the BIOS to this value.
Thank you.
