few days ago i sended an email to sparkle support, there is the answer:

i own sparkle 8800gts calibre card for few weeks(thp p.c is new.)<o:p></o:p>
in last few days when i turn on my p.c a long beep is occure.<o:p></o:p>
i opened up the case and i found out that the beep came from the the calibre card;<o:p></o:p>
the power cord's are well conected to the card's and the 2 fans are working well,<o:p></o:p>
i try to unplug/plug the card and the same problem remains,<o:p></o:p>
(the long beep occure only when the p.c is cold !!!!!!!<o:p></o:p>
the bip is about 10-15 seconds.<o:p></o:p>
need your help please !!!<o:p></o:p>

hi

i guess they will not replace my card because, the beeps did not appear in the
lab,
but if sparkle support will say that it's a problem maybe they wil accept this
and they will replace my card,
i understood from sparkle support answer that its not a problem at all.
the card is only leting me know that the remp are cold!
any way i ask them for a solution,

8800gt need extra power, did you link the power cable?
or maybe the power slot broken?

my card is gts, all cables are well conected,
according to sparkle support: the temp are to low ??? !!!

You said the beep is all that happens, vista starts up normally and everything runs?

I wouldn't worry about it if thats the case...you called support for the card and they told you why it did it, it doesn't seem like its an issue, just a informative beep
