When I saved the dxdiag it gave about a thousand more lines of information, but I'm pretty sure this is sufficient. I can obviously provide more information if needed.
The problem:
The device shuts down randomly from a 1/2 to 3 hour period, regardless of charge or if it is plugged in or not. It does not restart itself or give any kind of error message or blue screen, it acts as though it is being hard-shut down. I ran some tests myself and got this:
I got this particular laptop at Best Buy and it came with a one year warranty, however that is expired. I am trying every possible way to find a fix, like coming to this forum, before outright buying a whole new laptop.

- Unplugged, flashed BIOS, turned off due to 0 charge (started at ~40%)
- Plugged in, would not flash BIOS
- Charged to full while turned off
- Remained plugged in, flashed BIOS, turned off from unknown causes after ~40 minutes
- Unplugged, flashed BIOS, turned off due to 0 charge after ~1 hour
- Plugged in, launched OS, charges to full without incident in ~3 hours
- Unplugged, launched OS, discharges to 10% without incident in ~1.5 hours
- Plugged in at 10% charge, turns off from unknown causes after ~10 minutes
