Hi Everyone,
I just recently purchased an Asus U47A and Im having some strange touchpad issues. This laptop uses an elantech, not a synaptec like I've seen in 90% of other laptops. Anyways, most of the time the laptop is fine, but every few hours the cursor on my screen will begin to jump around uncontrollably. If I try to use the touchpad to move it, it hardly responds to my movements and if it does, it doesnt even move in the direction that Im sliding my fingers. I've tried to download both the Elantech drivers and the Asus Smart Gesture drivers and I've had the problem on both sets of drivers. Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone have any ideas?
