Hi all,
I just installed an AsRock H310M-HDV/M.2 motherboard and an Intel I3-8100 CPU with a stock cooler. The idle temps reported from the bios are significantly higher than temperatures reported by other third 3rd party apps. FYI, I also have 3 case fans installed (front, back, side). Here are the temps as reported:
Bios - 39.5C
Speccy - 28C
CPUID - 27C to 29C
I have a funny feeling the CPU temperature is being incorrectly reported by the bios. You thoughts, feedback, and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
