B360M-ITX/ac does not see USB drive at all

B360M-ITX/ac - unable to boot from USB and install windows. I have tried several USB drives and none are seen at all. seems like a bad board unless I am missing something?

the BIOS in this board is different, only way Secure Boot can be enabled is CSM disabled. then it doesn't see NVMe drive for some reason.

no way to install Windows without the USB at this point.

finally figured it out - there was an option for UEFI in USB settings. that did it. I guess leave that enabled forever? this board sure is complicated.
