Where the Intel z97 PCI-e lanes ended on your z97 mobos?

I bought a z97 Extreme4, but this also applies to other mobos.

I noticed the z97 specs say that it has 8 PCI-e 2.0 lanes.

Extreme4 has 3 PCI-e 1x slots...

We are left with 5 lanes.

I think 2 went to the M2 and Sata express connector.

We are left with 3 lanes.

Where they went?
