I have 5 Asrock B85MHDS based system with I7 16Gbytes memory installed as scanning stations. Kodak scanner 50-100 pages per minute through USB-3. However the USB drops connection to the scanner during scanning (transferring images from scanner to System). The scanner then goes not ready and stops scanning. What I have noticed is at the same time the disk I/O (SATA 1Tbyte) has 50 in the queue waiting. The scanned images then don't display on the monitor as they are being scanned.
There appears to be real bottleneck and just wanted to know if this motherboard is designed for this type of weork if not what motherboard is? Or what can I do to fix the problem?
