  • ASRock H170M PRO4 question.

Hi, I want to know if this board/chipset (ASRock H170M Pro4) does support multiplier change in the range of 8 to 42 for my CPU (i7-6700K), I don't care about overclocking and I know overclocking can't be done on a non-Z chipset but All I want it is for underclock it, I want to know if it can be done on this specific board as all other board manufacturers support it (change the multiplier between the Base and Turbo Clock speed)including on both the B150 and H170 chipset. However this reviewer says he wasn't able to change it, who should I trust? or maybe he was actually trying to overclock? can anyone confirm to me this is possible. I'm on the fence to order from another manufacturer but this one aesthetically looks better, if it support it I can switch to this one instead.

    Thank you!

If you look at the manual, you'll see there is no option. But she should clock down and not run at max anyway until loaded.
