My motherboard is H97M Pro4. I was trying to update the BIOS from version 1.20 to version 2.00.
However, after I download the latest version from the ASRock website and click on the Windows executable
file that is supposed to install the new version of the BIOS, the warning says that the file has an unknown
publisher. Since BIOS is such an important component of a computer, I decided to contact somebody knowledgeable
first before installing the file from an unknown publisher.
Hence my question is: should I install the executable even though the publisher is not specified as
ASRock. How can I make sure that the BIOS version that I am about to install is valid and legitimate.
Thank you in advance for your help.
