  • problem asrock h81m-hds and dvbsky 950c card

    hello,
    i have a problem with my dvbs card an the pcie slots.
    problem:
    no signal on the dvbs card !!
    my system:
    asrock h81m-hds
    intel i5
    win 7 64
    driver up to date
    bios up to date

    1. my signal from sat system is ok,
    2. the driver for the dvbs card is new from 2015.05.28
    3. testet dvb player: dvbviewer, dvbsky, dvb dream, progdvb, wmc
    4. driver and equipment found

    test:
    1. expanded dvbs card from the asrock h81m hds
    2. installed in my pc with ga-z87x-oc, driver loaded, dvbsky player installed -> works
    3. card back to h81m, driver installed, dvbsky player installed -> no signal
    4. player config copied from ga z87x to h81m -> no signal

    can you help me

    Insert dvbs-card to PCIE1 slot (x16). Enter UEFI and set 'Advanced / Chipset Configuration / PCIE1 Link Speed' to 'Gen1'. In Windows, open energy options, and set PCI Express to 'off' ("PCI Express / Verbindungszustand-Energieverwaltung / Einstellung: Aus"). Do you get a signal now?

      no signal.
      have me borrowed a skystar 2 express runs everything.
      i think it is a compatibility problem

        yes, compatibility problems with tv cards are happening quiet often. Take a look at these dvb-s cards. Not quite cheap, but very good quality. I own a twin tuner dvb-c card from Digital Devices myself.
