re: ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 and X-530 Surround Sound Speaker Problem
Your title is ugly.
Please exactly write what is your motherboard name, windows version and to which sockets you have connected your speaker. I've personally never used a 5 way audio system but know there are configurations inside bios and windows for that. Other members can surely help if you describe your problem better and be patient.

Re: ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 and X-530 Surround Sound Speaker Problem
I doubt your problem has anything to do with drivers at all.
The problem is probably with the main cables going to the subwoofer from the PC, or in the cables going to the right speaker that has the control for volume.

Re: ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 and X-530 Surround Sound Speaker Problem
From the first post you said "they worked on previous mobo gigabyte."
How long ago did the speakers last work on your gigabyte setup?
Connect your X-530 speaker system to a different computer system to make sure that the speakers and cables are still working properly.
secondly: i cant get 7.1 system in realtek
Are your cables connected using ASRock's settings in page 12 of your motherboard user manual?
Did you follow the Windows Vista procedure at the bottom of the page?

Re: ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 and X-530 Surround Sound Speaker Problem
Why are you asking about a 7.1 speaker configuration when your Logitech 530 speakers are a 5.1 set?
If we knew what Gigabyte board you previously had, maybe we could figure out the difference in connecting your speakers.
While the way the speakers are connected to the PC is very important and may be your problem, I'm also saying the cables between the speakers and the PC may be having a problem. Since it is the speaker that has the volume control on it that is giving you trouble, a wire connecting to it may be not getting a signal.
It looks like the multi-pin connector that goes into the subwoofer has all the cables that connect to the PC. I would check the manual of the Logitech 530 to be sure it is connected correctly.
Finally, what version of Windows are you using?

Re: ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 and X-530 Surround Sound Speaker Problem
In post #3 the OP said he is running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1.
The procedure in the Windows Vista paragraph at the bottom of page 12 is probably required with win7.
You will make it much easier for us if you follow this forum procedure:
We need detailed information about ALL OF THE HARDWARE in your system.
We can best help you after you create a detailed hardware list in the System Specs
portion of your forum profile at the bottom of your profile page.
Be sure to include brand names and model numbers.
When you are done editing or creating your hardware list, save the settings.
This way we can quickly and easily verify your system information in your PC Specs.Q9650 @ 4.10GHz [9x456MHz]

Re: ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 and X-530 Surround Sound Speaker Problem
Good job with your PC Specs.
For the motherboard bios version fill in the ASRock bios version number, for example P1.70, P1.80, .....P2.20
For example: ASRock > 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 --> current available bios versions
I'm holding my breath waiting to see if the Windows Vista procedure fixes the speaker problem.Q9650 @ 4.10GHz [9x456MHz]
