No matter what drives I select in the boot priority the machine either A). Tries to boot from an older HDD or B).Spams "Please insert a bootable disk". I'm pretty confused, I've tried to boot from CD and then I created a bootable USB stick. Neither of these options worked, I would really appreciate any help offered at this point. Thank you :)
*Update* Updated BIOS to the most recent version, Installed a new SSD and disconnected old HDDs and SSDs. Same problem, system still refuses to boot from the optical drive.
*Edit* I mean DVD not CD. I should have just said optical drive. Also I'm using a brand new Windows 8 install DVD as my source for the bootable USB stick.
