  • ASRock Fatal1ty X99M Killer LGA 2011-v3

I need some help with this board. I am planing to get this board mainly because of its size and use it with Haswell-E i75960X 3 GHz LGA 2011-v3. My problem is that I would like to utilize 64 GB of RAM on this build so at least now the my only option is to get a server memory (ECC) but under the spec on the ASRock site it says that the ECC memory is supported only with XEON E5 series. Can anybody suggest anything except for getting a different board :-) ?

    Thank you

I think I just answered my question myself, the Haswell-E does not support the ECC so it does not matter anyway.

    Thanks

      Dear Brucexx
I'm Eddy from ASRock HQ TSD.

If you would like to use ECC function, please choose Intel Xeon processors E5 series in the LGA 2011-3 Socket.
According to the specification of X99M Killer, this model supports DDR4 ECC, un-buffered memory/RDIMM with Intel Xeon processors E5 series in the LGA 2011-3 Socket.
Please refer below link to check the spec in detail.
