  • Graphics card Upgrade

I Have a 960Gm vgs3 fx, can I upgrade the radeon 3000 integrated graphics card with something better? If so what?
I want to play warthunder (I can at the moment but only just on the minimum settings). the minimum requirements for grapics card for the game are radeon x26xx/ Geforce 7800 gt and the
recommended requirements are Nvidia GeForce 460 or higher, AMD Radeon 55XX series or higher
Will one of these cards be compatible with the 960Gm vgs3 fx?

    Re: Graphics card Upgrade

The Radeon 3000 graphics is part of your board's AMD 760G chipset, and that cannot be replaced, but that is not a problem.

Like most other boards, you can add a separate video card in the PCIe x16 slot on your board. Then you select that as the video source in the BIOS.

The cards you listed are physically compatible, and should be compatible with your board, as most cards are in general.

Some very new model cards seem to have occasional compatibility problems with all boards, so it is impossible to predict if their will be a problem.
