Z97M with 4790k
I am getting this mobo soon and wondering what OC features it has and how much has one overclock this CPU up and being stable. I got water cool and DDR3 2000+ memory from corsair. Any tips?

4790k oc to 4.5-4.7 is not too hard ... after 4.7 require a lot of voltage. I'm doing 4.6 and 4.5 now .... I'm on Air. 4.6 hit 90 in occt small and IBT ...
4.5 it hit 80-81c max on all stress test ... trying to lower the voltage on 4.6 if can get it to 85c then i stay with that.
* note... don't oc Cache. wait until latter cache don't offer much but will hinder higher oc. i set my at default 40x ( some time even 38x) .. when stable i'm up to 43x nowComment
