  • B85M-ITX - XMP support, false advertising or not?

    ASRock > B85M-ITX
I can find nothing in BIOS related loading/using XMP settings. BIOS 1.90.
Memory loads with wrong timings. I can enter the correct ones manually, but it has nothing to do with XMP function they advertise - just can't find it anywhere :(
Thinking about returning it but want to make sure.
    Anybody has any ideas?
    Thank you

Please post a screenshot of the SPD tab in CPU-z. That alone would be would be helpful here.
#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.
____If you are overclocking, underclocking, or undervolting any parts, informing us of this and their values would prove beneficial in helping you.

#2 - Consider your PSU to be the foundation from which all else is built upon. Anything built upon a weak foundation is poorly built.

Re: B85M-ITX - XMP support, false advertising or not?

What model memory are you using, the full model number?

Some models of memory do not have XMP profiles, so the XMP option won't be displayed in the BIOS if the memory does not have any XMP profiles.
