Recently completed my build and currently at the BIOS screen (no OS installed) and wondering If I should update to the 2.60 version, currently running 2.30. If so, which method is preferred (less problems) for updating. Thanks

The update to 2.60 is not critical and could be done later.
You can't do the Internet Flash at this point, since your Internet connection is not working until its driver is installed.
Use Instant Flash now and always, the safest option. -
