  • C2750D4I: disabled, untouchable options in bios?

    Hi,
I would dearly like to see an unmodified bios for download. I got after mailing the support a bios 1.51 with the ECC-feature selectable, but I'm still missing several "good old settings".
In fact, under Ubuntu 13.10 the dmesg reports some inconsistencies:

"[ 0.547181] acpi PNP0A08:00: _OSC: OS supports [ExtendedConfig ASPM ClockPM Segments MSI][ 0.547629] acpi PNP0A08:00: _OSC: OS now controls [PCIeHotplug PME AER PCIeCapability]
[ 0.547885] acpi PNP0A08:00: [Firmware Info]: MMCONFIG for domain 0000 [bus 00-3f] only partially covers this bridge
    [ 0.548002] ACPI: \_SB_.PCI0.APIC: can't evaluate _ADR (0x5)
    "

    "[ 1.000089] sha512_ssse3: Using SSSE3 optimized SHA-512 implementation
[ 1.000280] AVX or AES-NI instructions are not detected.
[ 1.000285] AVX instructions are not detected.
    [ 1.000288] AVX2 or AES-NI instructions are not detected.
    "
EDIT: seems not relevant, though, as Truecrypt shows 2GB/s at internal benchmark (Twofish 500MB/s).

    "[ 1.643303] pcieport 0000:00:04.0: can't derive routing for PCI INT A
    [ 1.643310] pcieport 0000:00:04.0: PCI INT A: no GSI
    "
00:04.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation Atom processor C2000 PCIe Root Port 4 (rev 02)

Also I seem to have problems with add-on-PCIe-cards because of intensive IRQ-sharing:
    [ 0.598232] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKA] (IRQs 6 7 10 *11 12 15)
    [ 0.598343] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKB] (IRQs 6 7 10 11 12 15) *0, disabled.
    [ 0.598456] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKC] (IRQs 6 7 10 *11 12 15)
    [ 0.598565] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKD] (IRQs 6 *7 10 11 12 15)
    [ 0.598675] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKE] (IRQs 6 7 *10 11 12 15)
    [ 0.598784] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKF] (IRQs 6 7 *10 11 12 15)
    [ 0.598894] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKG] (IRQs 6 *7 10 11 12 15)
    [ 0.599004] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKH] (IRQs 6 7 10 *11 12 15)
8 Links to 3 IRQs is quite bad for any server usage:
PCI 00.0f.0, IOMMU uses IRQ 11
PCI 00.1f.0, SMBUS uses IRQ 11
PCI 00.16.0, USB EHCI uses IRQ 23
PCI 06.00.0, Aspeed VGA uses IRQ 23
PCI 08.00.0, Intel igb i210 LAN uses IRQ 23

Perhaps the LNK-IRQs should be assignable in BIOS, too: I remember this from older server boards...

They seem all to be bios-related. Could a tech have a look at this?
    Thanks,
    Daniel
