Hey there!
I decided to update my 970 Extreme4's BIOS to 2.60 since I might be making some changes to my hardware and OS soon, including a 3TB HDD.
Much to my surprise, the update froze up during the Programming Main BIOS phase and after 30 minutes of unresponsiveness I started freaking out, as this is my main Audio Workstation and I can't work without it.
All my previous BIOS updates had gone perfectly until today (the motherboard came with 2.00, I did the 2.20, 2.40 and 2.50 updates meanwhile).
Is there any recovery procedure I can use? I know some Motherboards support recovering from a USB thumb drive, floppy or CD, but I can't find any information regarding mine and often enough a specific file name is necessary.
Thanks in advance for any help in solving this!
