    Z77 Extreme6 will not auto sleep in Win8

    I had Windows 7 on my machine and everything worked perfectly. I downgraded to Windows 8.1 and now my system will not go to sleep on its own. I can manually put it to sleep but it will not auto sleep after the 30min that's set in Windows. Ive tried all the suggestions I could find online. Oh, and now my games that were rock solid in Windows 7 randomly cause unrecoverable crashes. Thnx Microsoft.

    I don't know what you have tried (all the suggestions I could find online?), but disable Homegroup in Control Panel and see if that works. It did for me. Good luck!
