I have a huge problem with my PC.
- I upgraded the CPU (i7-3930K to i7-4930K) and tried to enable PCIe 3.0
- I cant reach 4.4 GHz OC, with the 3930K it worked
- RAM did never run at 2400MHz, need to set 2133MHz
- PCIe 3.0 makes my rig extremely unstable (crashes, freezes and entire black screens out of nowhere)
Specs:
- ASRock X79 Extreme4
- Intel Core i7-4930K (can switch to 3930K)
- G.Skill RipJaws 16GB (running at 2133, because 2400 isnt stable)
- 2x Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce III in SLI mode
- Club3D GT 640 for PhysX
- 2x Samsung SSD 840 Pro 256GB in RAID-0
- 2x WD Scorpio Black 500GB in RAID-0
- Teac Slimline BluRay Slot-In drive
- Antec TruePower 750W PSU
- SilverStone Raven RV02 (USB 3.0 edition)
- Auzentech X-Fi HomeTheater HD sound card
- Windows 8.1 Pro
- all drivers up to date (reinstalled windows because of new CPU and PCIe 3.0)
Please help me. If there is no solution, I'll send the new CPU back, because the old one is working as expected...
