Hi everyone,
I have a strange problem that I can't troubleshoot.
I have an old Dell desktop that accessed my home wifi with no issues. I recently built a new desktop system using an ASRock 990FX Extreme 4 mother board, an AMD FX 8350 8-core processor, and 16 gb of G.Skill DDR3-1866 RAM. I used some components out of the old desktop such as the optical drive and the wifi network adapter.
The basic issue is that the old PC accessed the wifi network with no issue with its Broadcom 802.11g PCI network adapter, and the newly built PC with the same network adapter has erratic and very slow connectivity to the wifi network. It is running on the same Windows 7 32-bit OS also.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue?
Thanks very much,
Mike D
