  • Problems with my HD 7970 royalAce Ghz Edition of Club3D and ASRock 870 mobo

    Specs:

    CPU: FX-8350 (4.0 Ghz 8-core)
    Motherboard: ASRock 870 extreme3 r2.0
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 7970 Ghz Edition royalAce 3Gb
    PSU: OCZ ModXstream 700w
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64x
    Memory: G-skill 1600Mhz 8gb

I recently bought myself a Radeon HD 7970 Ghz Edition royalAce 3Gb to boost my performance in game. But as soon as it is willing to boot my screens just won't show anything. They are trying to find a signal but it just won't show anything.

So I returned my GPU and I received a new one but the problem still persists.

So I thought It would be my motherboard that was causing the problems (compatibillty) OR my PSU but it seems this page is doing it with less PSU power and the same motherboard.

Anyone know what could be the problem ?

it looks like a bios problem .. check if there's a new version of your mobo's bios @ asrock.com

I already had my bios updated to the latest (1.80 in my case) because my FX-8350 required 1.80 to work.
So It can't be my bios version.
