  • Z77 Pro 4 USB 3.0 Header Issue - Help

I just got finished building a fresh PC Using the ASRock Z77 Pro 4 board. I connected the front panel USB 3.0 cable to the motherboard header and tried to use my external USB 3.0 SmartDive. Windows 7 Pro 64-bit doesn't see the drive and asks me to format it. If I plug the drive into the USB 3.0 port on the rear panel it works. What am I missing?

Did you install the ASRock util XFast USB? It's not my favorite.
#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.
____If you are overclocking, underclocking, or undervolting any parts, informing us of this and their values would prove beneficial in helping you.

#2 - Consider your PSU to be the foundation from which all else is built upon. Anything built upon a weak foundation is poorly built.

I did initially, but then disabled it.
