Multi locked at 37 Intel i5 2500K + ASRock Z68 Pro3-M

I need some help - I can't adjust the CPU multiplier past 37 in the UEFI or Windows (slider just stops at 37). Any value above 37 just reverts back to 37 when I press Enter. Also, if i set it to 37, it just ignores the setting, the CPU is still stock when I boot up Windows.

For everyone wondering, it is a 2500K CPU, not a non-K. I have the latest UEFI - 2.30. I have done a CMOS reset. Nothing helps.

What can I do? I understanding some people solved the issue by flashing some beta UEFI, but I can't find any.

So, I understand the BIOS chip is corrupt and needs replacing, as per some threads regarding P67 in these forums. I suppose ASRock won't bother to send a new chip so I actually have to cut my losses. Cool.

I think that a new bios chip from ASRock is $15 including shipping.
I've seen some cases in the forum where they shipped a new bios chip no charge, but this was usually due to a bad flash.
