Does your dram configuration UEFI look like this and do you run your memory at 2133mhz?

If so , or if you can provide your timings ,both main and secondary Id be obliged.

As you can see my ram is rated for and has an xmp for 1600mhz

Running it at the timings shown,it works fine at 1.5v at 2133,the secondary timings Ive "tightened up" myself to 14 ,152,6,7,7,32,8
I left only the 14 in for the pic so you could see what the memory secondary timings default to at 2133 with 10-11-10-28.

There is no jedec profile on the memory for speeds above 1700 mhz ,the memory wont post/boot with a cas 9 latency(at 2133..it will np at 1866) from 1.50-1.61v.It will at 1.65v with timings loosened out to standard and cr2..but performance difference seemed negligible and I wouldnt fancy the voltage that high.

(a little extra vtt didnt seem to affect things).

What Im really looking for is secondary settings on YOUR memory running at 2133mhz (stable),either
1.If you have 2133mhz rated memory sold with an xmp for 2133.
2.if you have clocked your own 1600/1866 sticks up to 2133 .

    Thx.

Re: 2133mhzDDR3 dual channel on 1155 cpu Asrock boards

      Thx Wz,

The tRFC is like double ,what it should be from Gskill specs on auto..unless the board has a different def of tRFC :) divide by 2 or something.

Ill try that ,the tRAS maybe.

I suppose Ill just mess around a bit more.Even the timings dont seem to make a whole lot of difference,in general.(once you go above 1333 or 1600).
Like once your at a speed , a clik here or there even on the main timings doesnt make much diff.
100 mhz on cpu speed makes more.

This article isnt bad..tho it veers towards ivybridge too much for my liking

Choosing the Best DDR3 SDRAM for Ivy Bridge. Page 6 - X-bit labs.
..oooh ooh I gotta get me an ivy and pay bucks for 2800 memory...nah Ill pass for now :)

I notice also that the 1.65 v for memory is BAD seems to be gone....maybe this memory will clock to 2400 at 1.65v to infinity and beyond...oh wait being on a lowly sandy cpu means I would need a big baseclock since there is no 2400 speed option.Must upgrade.. must spend more...

you wont see a huge benefit from ram speeds on sb/ib like you would on x58/p55,it does help a little but not a huge margin

While you're at it try a tCWL of 7

EDIT: That is while you're sitting on a CAS of 10.

Tried that Wardog..and a few other settings.no measureable diff,ie nothing worth locking in and doing stability tests on, thx tho

I seem to have 3 threads open on this .so ill just carry anything else to
