  • Chipset drivers for M3A770DE in windows 8 slows down the pc slightly

I was hoping that someone had installed the reference drivers from AMD's site with this board in 64 bit Windows 8. If you have, did you notice speed decreases? I am not on the PC now, but I think it was version 12.8.

Also, my memory scores are low in passmark and sisoft sandra (the reason I installed the chipset drivers in the first place) with dual channel mode enabled and everything. Has anyone seen issues with that on this board?

I have low scores with 2 different sets of memory.

    Thank you for any replies.

    Hello and Welcome.

Which board is it you have? MA770DE in topic, but is it M3A77DE, A770DE, or A770DE+ ?
#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.
____If you are overclocking, underclocking, or undervolting any parts, informing us of this and their values would prove beneficial in helping you.

#2 - Consider your PSU to be the foundation from which all else is built upon. Anything built upon a weak foundation is poorly built.

Sorry about that, I forgot the 3. M3A770DE.

      ASRock > M3A770DE

      Thanks for looking.
