Does the H61M-HVS support RAID? I thought it did, but I cannot set the disks to RAID mode in the BIOS.

I've tried everything I can think of. I have 2 identical SATA drives on ports 1 and 2.

It will only let me select IDE or AHCI.

I've tried to load the RAID drives from the CD and USB on Windows 7 (64bit) install but it just says no drivers for your hardware.

I've upgraded to the latest BIOS but no luck there either.

The H61 chipset does not support RAID, sorry to say.

Check the page below, and scroll down to find :

Thanks for your reply - I will stop trying then !

When I looked into it I was pretty sure it did, never mind will just have to use Windows software mirroring instead

Unfortunately, you really need to check all the details these days, particularly with Intel. Then again, in the past they would have two versions of the same SATA chipset, one with RAID, the other without. One quick scan of the detailed specs should be enough to verify what works, and what doesn't.
