Asrock 970 Extreme4 Bios Update 2.10

Hello,
I have this mobo updated to bios v2.00 and i want to update to v2.10, but when i run the windows update app it gives me a warning message:
PI Version in SYS ROM mismatched PI Version in ROM File! etc....
I want to update to this version cause i'm running Windows 8 and this update introduce some tweaks with that op system. I hope that the boot time will be slower with my ssd.
Can someone give me some advice?

I would suggest you follow the manufacturers recommended "how to update" on this page: ASRock > 970 Extreme4
click the red + sign.
You will need to place the proper BIOS file on a USB disk or floppy, and update from the BIOS.

While they do provide a windows BIOS update utility, I personally dislike using them as it is too easy to fry your BIOS by accident. (OS can introduce many unknowns)
Much better to update from a known and stable state.
