One of my computers died recently--power supply went bad (burning smell) and took out cpu or motherboard or both. It's not one of my main computers, so to replace it I got an ASRock 770iCafe with an Athlon II X2 260 Regor cpu. I swapped out the components last night and began installing Vista. Everything works fine, it powers on, fans work, etc. But my Hard Drive light and Power LED light are not on. I double checked the pins a million times with the manual, and I don't see where I'm wrong. For the Power LED light, I have a 3 pin plug, so I using that (it's a separate pin)--not the one in the system header. The power comes on, so I at least know I got the power switch plugged in right.
This is a spare Antec Power Supply I had that I used to use in a system with a Gigabyte motherboard, and the lights worked fine there. I'm just wondering if anyone else with the 770iCafe had a problem with the LED lights?
