  • P67 Extreme 4 Gen3 BIOS updated, now won't complete boot

Hi, have a bare stock P67 Extreme4 Gen MB with Intel i7 2600k chip and 16 GB installed. It was running OK with the OEM 1.10 BIOS perhaps, and I updated it to 2.20 and it showed successful, but maybe missed the two drivers that should have gone in with v2.10.

Now Windows 8 gives me the crappy BSoD screen and reboots. I cannot get into the OS to do anything, I have tried taking 1.11A and 1.11B BOS and using Insstant Flash from a Fat32 and FAT USB drives and CD-R media, but the Instant Flash does not seem to see the bios files, I get "No image file detected". How can I get this BIOS downgraded and/or resolved? It seems that these forums get pretty quick answers. IDC much about tweaking, I just want it up and running. Once it is, if you have any suggestions on tweaking for gaming, I'm all ears.

HD setup with Win 8 x64 on OCZ 256GB SSD, WD Black 1TB secondary, WD Green 2TB storage.

    Thanks
    Scott
