"Wake timers" set by Windows Media Center do not wake the computer when S3 sleep is used.
I need them to work because my computer will miss TV recordings if it does not wake for them.
Strangely, they do wake the computer successfully from S1 sleep and Hybernation. S3 is the only problem.
Windows Media Center is not the issue: I can confirm that this problem exists when testing the sleep/wake behaviour using the Passmark Sleeper application. PassMark Sleeper has confirmed that wake timers do wake the system from S1 sleep, but wake timers do NOT work when in S3 sleep.

wake timers do NOT work in S3 sleep
