I have no on board audio at all and I'm not sure why.

My HDMI is plugged into the video card slot because when I plug the monitor into the onboard HDMI port I get no signal from the monitor, which I feel may be one of the problems considering my monitor shows up as a generic PnP device, not really sure why that is.

I used DriverGenius to update all of my drivers to the newest versions. When I first installed the OS and booted up the machine I had forgotten to connect the power supply to the onboard audio since I have a sound card, but I have since connected it.

I have not yet flashed the bios, but it is at the most current to date version. I also have onboard audio enabled.

If anymore information is needed please ask for it. I really need to get sound to work on my computer and I'm at a loss here. None of the front headphone jacks or rear audio jacks from the motherboard seem to be functioning. The drivers show up properly but in playback devices there is no high definition audio device for me to select.

Thank you for any help you can provide.
