  • Enable DVI port on Z68 motherboard

How can the DVI video output be enabled on the Z68?
The DVI seems to work through initial boot and Windows startup, but then reverts to the VGA port.
The VGA port was used during system construction on the test bench with VGA monitor. When I moved the system to its permanent location and hooked it up to the DVI.
Motherboard is a Z68. Not using graphics card - using motherboard graphics.

    Thanks in advance.

Try plugging both ports in at the same time and configure them once booted up.

Make sure the DVI display has the start menu on it, or it may go blank again.
