  • unistall onboard lan

    Hello,
I have not been able to get my onboard lan working since I got my Z68 Extreme 4 motherboard. I settled on a PCI lan card that works perfectly. However, I get occassional blue screens when I'm on the internet or just closing a web page.
I have disabled the onboard lan device. Should I also uninstall it? Or would that cause more problems?
    Thanks, Gordon

Sounds like you disabled it in Device Manager.
Try disabling it in the BIOS and see if that helps.

Thanks for your reply. I went into the BIOS and could not find an option that said "turn of onboard lan." Could you help me with this?
      Thanks again

        Hello again,
I figured it out (under South Bridge). Now to see if the bluescreens stop.
        Thanks again, Gord
